![]() ![]() No doubt that this is the story of the relationship between Shiraishi and Kubo, but for a rom-com to work, there are the same factors that you've come across time and time again: school and family. And what happens thereafter is what you'll typically find in most rom-coms, though this relationship interaction is as sweet as pie itself. And somehow, Shiraishi's peace is interrupted by one lone girl who finds him fascinating: Nagisa Kubo, who just happens to be his classmate seated next to him right at the back of the class. However, there is a sleight of hand of luck within Shiraishi: the rumour stating that those who spot him will be blessed with good luck, similar to when a god shows up unannounced to bless one when one prays at a temple and seeks good luck in his/her life (that's more of a supernatural thing than anything else). I feel a terrible inch of Shiraishi in myself, because I used to be that classmate who would sit at the back and not care about my surroundings, much less interact with classmates who once had the potential to become friends for life. Nobody ever notices his presence in school, and no matter if he is or isn't in school, he's not much worth calling. And for one, the male MC Junta Shiraishi, is just that character: someone who's akin to an unnoticeable side character, more commonly referred to as a mob character in a video game. I'm going to tell a harsh truth here: people come in all kinds of conditions, the obvious, the not-so-obvious, you name it, you probably missed out on some things that just So then, what makes mangaka Nene Yukimori's Kubo-san wa Mob wo Yurusanai a.k.a Kubo Won't Let Me Be Invisible, which the manga has recently seen its "much-needed" closure, stand out among the rest of the rom-com pack? And if you haven’t paid attention, you may not notice just how famous some of the voices behind these cartoon faces really are.Īs Invincible gets close to wrapping up its first season, let’s take a look at some of the big stars who have lent their voice to the project, helping to make as strong as its been.Romance stories are a dime a dozen, inflicted with the ever-so-overdone tropes of rom-coms alike, that hearken one to just say that "if you've seen one, you've seen them all", and that is a fact wherever one goes. Still, the cast is enormous, and super star-studded. With this (admittedly sizable) list, we’re choosing to focus on characters seen as significant thus far in the Invincible Amazon Series run it leaves out voiceover stars like Justin Roiland, and the likes of Djimon Hounsou and Jonathan Groff, who played characters we don’t necessarily expect to directly hear from again. Hell, we’re not even including him in the list below, but freaking Jon Hamm voices a random guy who shows up for a few lines here and there in a couple early episodes. We’re talking 2021 Academy Award nominees, multiple Academy Award winners, and more-superstars up and down the cast. ![]() With its roots in animation, Invincible also has.quite possibly the best voice cast we’ve ever seen. ![]() ![]() The show brings some great action, a storyline that comes with twists and turns, and serves not necessarily as a spoof of superhero films, but as a definite and clear subversion of a genre that has become quite populated in the last decade and change. Based on The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman’s comic of the same name, Invincible has made for a blast of an animated series so far. ![]()
